Nate McMillan will have to miss some games on the Portland bench. McMillan will undergo surgery to repair a ruptured right Achilles tendon. The surgury is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 7.
He is expected to miss four games of the team's upcoming road trip and return for Saturday's home game vs. Houston. Assistant coach Dean Demopoulos will take over until McMillan returns. I wonder how the team will play in his absence?
