With the free agency bonanza opening up on July 1, 2010, we saw a lot of moves sizzle across the National Hockey League.
One general manager that had various items cooking was Brian Burke.
The signing of Colby Armstrong, a Saskatchewan native, hammered the Toronto headlines and immediately sent positive vibes throughout the city. Colby isn't your superstar player that will solve our goal scoring bug, but he will contribute vastly with his leadership and notable skill.
Now, the question remains, what's next? Is Brian Burke stopping here for 2010 or will he pull off the big signing that will place the Buds back into the glorious playoffs that we as fans have been long awaiting?
