When the San Jose Sharks left for their most recent road trip they found themselves in the middle of the Pacific division standings, off to a mediocre 3-2-1 start. Six games later, San Jose returns home with a mark of 7-4-1, temporarily giving themselves sole possession of first-place in the division. Posting victories on back-to-back days, first in Atlanta on Saturday and second in Philadelphia on Sunday, the Sharks turned what was becoming another inconsistent stretch of games into an impressive road trip.
