Tonight the Edmonton Oliers lost in a shootout from the Calgary Flames by a score of 4-3.

Edmonton came out fairly strong, and scored two goals in the first period. Ethan MoreauÆs breakaway chance goal, came off a nice set up from Gilbert Brule. Just before the period would expire, The Oliers would score a powerplay goal. Lubomir Visnovski finished off the period with an amazing blast from the point that beat Mikka Kipprusoff.

The Flames played hard in the second period and it led to chance in front of the net for them. On a tough play, Jarome Iginla would take out Sheldon SourayÆs feet, and land right on top of him.
