The second weekend of the 2009-10 NHL regular season is nearly here, and that leaves just a few days before we drop the puck on our new concept NHL Survivor Pool. It works just like a traditional NFL Survivor Pool, but for hockey. Pick a team to win or OTL (overtime loss) its game and you advance to the next week to pick again. If your team loses in regulation, then youÆre out of the pool. You cannot pick the same team twice and the last person standing is the winner. To simplify things, only Saturday games and some Sunday games are included from the NHL schedule, so a team only shows up as an option once per week.
