It's always a daunting task when a team faces one of the hottest squads in the league, but this was an even greater challenge for a Canadiens team that has been described as fragile in its first nine games.

To the chagrin of the faithful at the Bell Centre, the Blueshirts roared back with three unanswered goals.
Matt D'Agostini scored his first goal of the year midway through the second, drawing the Canadiens closer on the scoresheet 3-2.
The Rangers continued to hustle, as Marian Gaborik scored a pretty goal as he came in all alone against Jaroslav Halak.
