Don't let the Devils' 3-3 record against the Rangers last season fool you.á The Rangers have the edge in this rivalry right now, and have had it for a few years. The Devils record against the Rangers dating back to the beginning of the 2007-08 season (not counting postseason) runs 4-11.á Forget overtime losses in this case, a loss is a loss.á Especially against the Rangers, arguably the Devils biggest rival. Even those four wins they've been lucky enough to get didn't come easily.á Every game was a battle.
