They are currently the coldest team in the NHL, losing nine of their last ten games. That includes a seven game losing streak that ended just last Wednesday. Why wouldn't a fall into last place create panic on a team? It seems like everything has been going wrong for the Edmonton Oilers. Some games, they can't put the puck in the net, and others they can't keep it out. They have been consistently slapped in the face by their opponents, including a 7-2 defeat to the St. Louis Blues, a team that has only one more victory than the Oilers this season.
