To say the Stars haven't had a successful season so far would be a lie, then again after last season anything seems like a success. The problem is that the Stars aren't improving as the season grows older. In their last ten the Stars have posted a 5-3-2 record, nothing to sneeze at but for a team that appears incapable of winning in the shootout, and making it count in overtime there are questions to ask, and hopefully answers can be found. It would be an outright lie to say the Stars aren't getting points they need from extra time, but their overtime loss record is oddly similar of the New York Islanders and Toronto Maple Leafs, both teams likely won't be making the playoffs. The concern is if Dallas can't stop its extra time woes they could find themselves yet again on the outside lookin ...
