Today, I read a column by Mike Purdy of the San Jose Mercury News , and he stated that had Michael Crabtree been playing since the season started, the 49ers would have a winning record. Purdy might be correct. He gets paid to be a sports commentator, so it's his job to wonder what should have, could have or would have been. However, fans who share his view should not get overly caught up in what should have, could have, or would have been. As Coach Mike Singletary says, what matters is who you have to go to battle with, not wishful thinking of who you could, would or should have had. If you are still upset with Crabtree, chill.
