Washington Redskins Hire Sherman Lewis: What’s it Mean?

The latest news out of DC is the Redskins' hiring of Sherman Lewis. According to Vinnie Cerrato, he is being brought in as an "offensive consultant." An offensive consultant? Isn't it Jim Zorn's main job to control the offense? This latest hiring indicates that Cerrato and Snyder no longer have confidence in Zorn's ability to turn this offense around by his self. If they no longer believe he can do his job with this offense, what does that mean about his job security? When I first read about this hiring, there wereáa couple ofápossibilities that came to my mind about its meaning. First, and most obvious, is Snyder has probably already made up his mind about getting rid ofáZorn at the end of the season.
