Winning cures a lot of ills, but Eagles fans be warned: MondayÆs victory over the Redskins was a good band-aidàand that's all it was. The Redskins havenÆt scored more than 17 points all season, and thatÆs exactly the total they notched against the Birds. So, once the Eagles hit 20ùwhich happened with 4:08 to go in the first halfùthe game was all but over. So whatÆs the problem? Well, for one, thatÆs almost all they gotàand it's solely the offense's fault. For the fifth time in six games, the EaglesÆ defense played extremely well. Six sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception returned for a TDùpar for the course, and the 17 points they allowed was the most this season outside of the New Orleans fiasco.
