Earlier today, the New York Jets acquired Braylon Edwards from the Cleveland Browns for Jason Trusnik (special-teamer), Chansi Stuckey (the number-two receiver coming into the year), and two draft picks believed to be a third- and fifth-round.á Edwards is a legitimate deep threat, something that rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez (oddly enough the Jets got the pick to use on him from...the Browns) could benefit from greatly.á This should allow for Jericho Cotchery, the current number one receiver to slip back into the number two role where he is better suited, and for tight end Dustin Keller to enjoy more freedom in the passing game.á The trade should also help the Jet running game, which is already ninth in the league.á Now, we won't see what we saw last week wher ...
