Texans Back at .500: Too Little, Too Late in Houston?

All that Houston football fans want for Christmas is a Texan's postseason appearance. Unfortunately, it appears as though HoustonÆs NFL fans may be waiting another year or longer for that precious gift. Even with the Texans picking up a 16-13 victory over the depleted Rams this afternoon, the playoffs are still a long shot as Houston enters Christmas weekend with a 7-7 record. LetÆs pretend for a second that the Texans never choke and will wrap up the season with two more wins (at Miami and at home against New England). Will that be enough to push Houston to postseason play? ItÆs highly unlikely, especially in a division where everyone seems to keep winning.
