In a despicable display of social interventionism, an eighth grade student a Garfield Middle School in Hamilton, OH was disciplined because of his haircut. áDustin Reader received an in-school suspension for violating the school's code of conduct, which prohibits "unnaturally colored hair, extreme/distracting makeup, haircuts and hairstyles." The young man must have had a creative four-letter word shaved on the side of his head. áSurely, there was an obscene image on the back of his dome. No and no. Mr. Reader had his barber shave tiger stripes on his head and a large "B" on the back to show support for his favorite NFL team, the Cincinnati Bengals.
