While I wonÆt argue any of these players will be able to slide past the big three (Brees/Favre/Manning) for the MVP, I think these are some players who are in a good place to put together runs that could breach them into the top four or five beyond expectation.
Phillip Rivers: This will probably take a bit of flak as my æhomerÆpick, and the better the Chargers are looking the more this is actually hurting his vote, as they arenÆt relying on 300 yard games.á But show me a team that stayed alive more purely on the power of their quarterbackÆs arm earlier in the season.á
