After firing head coach Jim Mora, league sources says that the Seattle Seahawks are interested in USC head coach Pete Carroll, according to ESPN. The sources are also reporting that Carroll is interested and is trying to bring Trojans offensive coordinator Jim Bates with him. "You're about to see a big headline that shakes up the major college football world," a source close to the situation told ESPN.com. Mora was fired Friday morning after going 5-11 in his first only season in Seattle. If reports are true, and Carroll is hired, this wouldn't be his first stint as a head coach in the NFL.
