The Baltimore Ravens began the 2009 season with high expectations, expectations of making it past the AFC Championship to the Super Bowl. áBut after their 3-0 start the train has derailed and rebounded and there is no telling where it will head next.
After losing to the Green Bay Packers, it seemed the Ravens had forfeited the chance to control their own playoff destiny. áNow as the mayhem of the NFL season is near a close, the Ravens are back in the drivers seat.
Currently the Ravens sit in the fifth spot, ahead of the Denver Broncos who they own the tiebreaker over. áThe only other playoff threats still lurking are four 7-7 teams, the Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
If the Ravens are unable to control their own destiny ...
