In one of the smartest moves of the season to date, Carey Davis is again a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. As reported on profootballtalk.com, Frank Summers has landed on injured reserve, thus ending his rookie season, three games in. There were high hopes for Summers, making the team as the starting full back, even though his area of expertise is on special teams. Summers did not adapt well to the new position, struggling against Tennessee and Chicago.á Summers missed the game against the Bengals with a back injury. Davis, a member of last year's Super Bowl team, returns to take back the position he lost in training camp.
