Most of the talk this week in Cleveland revolved around Mike Holmgren possibly taking over as head coach. Joshua Cribbs decided to help put the focus back on the team and the players. Cribbs broke not one, but two kickoff returns for touchdowns, tying the single-game record. He also set the NFL career record for returns at seven, only to break it less than an hour later. Cribbs has eight returns for touchdowns in his career. He came into the game tied with Gale Sayers, Ollie Matson, Dante Hall, Mel Gray, and Travis Williams for most career touchdown returns. The first return came in the first quarter after Cribbs raced 100 yards and broke around six tackles. The second return came from deeper in the end zone in the second quarter.
