James Laurinaitis started his NFL career with an awesome 14 tackles in game one vs Seattle.
Laurinaitis was selected 35th in last years draft.
The Rams lost their top tackler from last year in Pisa Tinoisamoa to the Chicago Bears.
Laurinaitis is looking to take over that spot as the top man.
With the Rams looking to behind in most games the other team will probably run a lot which will give Laurinaitis plenty of time to pad his stats.
Laurinaitis should be almost a lock for defensive ROY.
The Rams get Washington next week. Look for the Redskins to run the ball so another 10+ tackles for Laurinaitis.
Look for 100 tackles and 5 sacks this year for the rookie from Ohio State.
