Thanksgiving is underway. Turkeys are on the table and football is on the television. Well, for some, anyway. Most of America got to see the Packers rip the Lions earlier, and is now watching the closing of the Cowboys' similar ripping of the Raiders. Needless to say, the two matchups were never very much. Not a lot to look forward to, other than the ceremonial aspect of watching the Lions and the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. The best matchup is, without a doubt, tonight’s: The New York Giants and the Denver Broncos, both sitting relatively pretty with six wins. Both are hungry for another, and both really need another if they are to make the playoffs. This will be the best game today. And nobody gets to see it.
