I can sum up what the record-breaking NFL crowd in Dallas meant for the home Cowboys in one word: nothing. The New York football Giants beat their hated rivals 33-31 on a last second 37-yard field goal by Lawrence Tynes. The Giants defense propelled them to victory by forcing four turnovers, including a interception return for a touchdown by free agent rookie Bruce Johnson. It marked the second week in a row the Giants "D" made its impact on the scoreboard. The Cowboys followed that play up with a fumble on the ensuing kickoff that set up another New York field goal. Seventeen of the 20 first half points scored by the Giants were off turnovers. The Giants' passing game just keeps silencing the critics.
