Donovan McNabb will be held out of practice all week, and it is increasingly likely he will not get the start against New Orleans on Sunday. McNabb is suffering from a cracked rib, which he suffered in a week one game against the Carolina Panthers, and will be held out as long as the injury is affecting his mobility, says the report. Coach Andy Reid vocalized his support of McNabb's backup, Kevin Kolb, who has yet to make an NFL start, and has been unimpressive in limited time at mop-up duty for the Eagles. Michael Vick and recently signed Jeff Garcia are the two other backups for McNabb. Vick is not eligible to play until next week, while Garcia has, well, been away from the program for a little while.
