The rumor mill is a-buzzing that the Philadelphia Eagles have put quarterback Donovan McNabb on the trading block. Reportedly, the Eagles wanted two first-round picks and a third-round pick. Now, the Eagles would be satisfied with a high second-round pick, which would imply Oakland or Buffalo as the likely trading partner. Both clubs are rumored to have inquired about McNabb, which raises questions about the Raiders, but most importantly, this situation is a curious one, because it seems to me that the Eagles have no leverage in any trade.
