The former Cleveland Browns quarterback Derek Anderson took little time in making new headlines of his own, once he was released on March 9, by talking to the media and verbally attacking Browns fans. Anderson spoke with News-Herald reporter Jeff Schudel and had a few not-so-nice things to say about Browns fans. "The fans are ruthless and don't deserve a winner," Anderson said via e-mail. "I will never forget getting cheered when I was injured."
