When the National Football Post came out with a report that the Cleveland Browns may be interested in Seattle Seahawks QB Seneca Wallace, it generated a fair amount of intrigue (obviously) among bloggers and media sources alike. The match appears to be there. The Browns are under the management of ex-Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren, who groomed Wallace into a serviceable quarterback. The Browns are going to address the QB position one way or another—Holmgren is not going to stand pat with what's on his roster. Derek Anderson is high-priced and extremely underwhelming, and Brady Quinn may not be Holmgren's cup of tea.
