Miscues cost the Bears a shot at beating the Falcons. The defense for the most part was able to keep most of the Falcons weapons in check and avoid from breaking the game open. A few big plays by Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez led to touchdowns and kept the momentum on the side of the Falcons. Matt Ryan played almost flawlessly throughout the game. He responded to pressure, reading the coverage and changing plays almost automatically. After their first couple possessions the Falcons adjusted to the Bears pressure by going no huddle causing confusing in the coverage assignments. In the second half the Bears did a good job of adjusting to the Falcons game plan and gave the offense a chance to win. ThatÆs where things went south.
