Jay Glazer has reported via Twitter that the San Diego Chargers have officially traded cornerback Antonio Cromartie to the New York Jets for a conditional third round pick in 2011. That's what we like to call a deal . According to ESPN's Adam Schefter the pick can change to a second-rounder depending on how much and/or well Cromartie plays in New York. The story on the Chargers side is that, despite Cromartie's excellent athleticism and physical abilities, his off-field issues and inconsistent on-field performance have led them to adapt "cutting their losses" feelings toward their former star corner.
