If any Charger fan hears the words undrafted free agent. The automatic name "Antonio Gates" pops in their head , and with good reason. But here's another undrafted Charger Pro Bowler you might want to know: David Binn.
The reason we don't hear the name more is because the guy is good. Damned good. Every football fan knows, that the only way a long snapper's name is ever called is if he has a bad snap. And " bad snap" just isn't in Binn's vocabulary.
So just how far do we have to go back to see when Binn walked on? How about before the Chargers went to the Super Bowl 17 years ago. That's correct. He did our snapping in the big show damned near two decades ago!!
