New Orleans Saints over New England Patriots, 38-17
This was the marquee matchup of the weekend and it didnÆt live up to its hype. The Saints spanked the Patriots like an unwanted step child. The shellacking the Patriots took at the hands of the Saints was a nasty reality check for New England Patriots fans. We must face the fact the Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, and even the Indianapolis Colts, are the elite teams in the league this year.
