Quincy Douby was signed by the Raptors on Mar. 24, 2009 to a 10-day contract.á On Apr. 3, Douby signed for a second 10 days, which was eventually extended to include the 2009-10 season.á It appears shooting 44.4 percent from three gets you a second look! A 6Æ3ö 175lb star shooting guard from Rutgers, Douby was drafted 19th overall in the first round of the 2006 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings after his junior year. Following a rough two-and-a-half NBA seasons, he was waived by the Kings on Feb. 18, 2009. Considered to be the best guard Rutgers has ever produced, Douby was an excellent offensive player.
