On the other end, T.J. Ford missed a jumper at the buzzer, giving the Spurs a victory and coach Popovich his 700th. Popovich became the 16th coach in NBA history to reach 700 wins. He is also among seven current head coaches to reach the milestone. The other active coaches include Larry Brown, George Karl, Jerry Sloan, Phil Jackson, Rick Adelman, and Don Nelson.
