Rudy Fernandez Sidelined For Four to Six Weeks Fernandez had surgery this week to alleviate pain and pressure in his legs. A damaged nerve in his back was causing the disruption, and the second-year guard should miss at least a month of action. He has already been cleared to begin conditioning, but will be limited to non-basketball activities, as his legs and back are still vulnerable to contact and severe pressure.
