Los Angeles Clippers rookie C/F Blake Griffin will miss up to six weeks with a stress fracture in his left patella (kneecap). This hurts the Clippers' depth in the front-court, which had been solid. Big man Marcus Camby is dealing with an injury of his own. Griffin was already dealing with tendinitis in the same knee and was recently considering playing with what doctors thought was a "bone bruise." Griffin will now miss the season opener and quite likely the entire first month, and possibly more. Center Chris Kaman looks to pick up more minutes, with Camby also out.
