According to Ken Rosenthal of, the Atlanta Braves have signed infielder Troy Glaus to a one-year, incentive-based deal. This could very well be the bat that Braves GM Frank Wren had been mentioning. Glaus is expected to play first base for the Braves; however, he has only played six gamesáof his 1,360 appearances at first. The Braves have made a strong move to add a veteran run produceráto the lineup. Glaus has hit 20 or more HR eight times in his career, the last coming iná2008áwhen he hit 27 homers.
