In what would otherwise been a rather meaningless loss against the Blue Jays last night, Jorge Posada made it interesting when he started a brawl after he threw an elbow at Toronto pitcher Jesse Carlson in retaliation to getting thrown at earlier in the inning. Here are the reactions via Peter Abraham: Joe Girardi: ““We’ve already had a discussion,” he said. “I told them there is a lot at stake here and we can’t afford to get anyone hurt or lose anyone or get people suspended.
