After an 11-3 drubbing, where the Atlanta Braves did all their damage in the first three innings, the Mets have something to play for for the rest of the 2009 season... Their pride. Sure, they're not going to win any titles.  Sure, they're the most expensive fourth-place team in the history of the game.  But that doesn't mean they should lose embarrassingly like the way the did last night. Thanks to some solid work by the bullpen, who held the hot-out-of-the-gate Braves hitless for the final seven innings of the game, the damage was limited.  If they performed as well as the starting pitching, the game might still be going on out in Flushing as I type.
