Comments Off on David Huff’s Complete Game A Much Needed Boost For Cleveland Indians
After a five-game losing streak, David Huff rescued the Cleveland Indians from the depths of early-season despair. The beginning of the 2010 campaign hasn't been much different than the beginning of the 2009 campaign so far. The Indians have shown some good pitching from the starters, bad pitching from the bullpen and an inability to get clutch hits. But that wasn't the case today as Huff lasted all nine innings and Shin-Soo Choo came through in the clutch with a three-run homer in the eighth inning. Huff gave up two runs on four hits but lowered his ERA to 1.80. But the meager crowd at Progressive Field got to see something very rare since 2007, a complete game victory.
