According to FOXSports.comÆs Ken Rosenthal , St. Louis' Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols will have surgery on Wednesday to remove five bone spurs from his right elbow. Now before every Cardinals fan wants to jump off a bridge because of this news, relax. ItÆs not that bad. Pujols is expected to be ready for spring training and should make a full recovery. Pujols will have his surgery performed by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, AL. Is there an athlete on the planet who doesnÆt use Andrews for surgery? This guy's client list is a whoÆs who of professional athletes. Pujols hit .327/47/135 with a .443 OBP and a 1.101 OPS for the Cardinals in 2009.
