Entering the 2010 season, the St. Louis Cardinals are once again the favorites to take the division crown. Behind them, are the idealistic Cubs and fourth other teams attempting to rediscover their identities. The Astros, Reds, Pirates and Brewers each have their own plans to rebuilding their franchises to compete in the NL Central, but in the end it will come down to the success of the pitching staffs.
As the Cardinals showed last year, having a dynamic duo at the top of the rotation can carry a National League Central team a long way. Do the other clubs have the arms to overtake St. Louis?
