Mark Teixeira has provided the team a consistent offensive bat. He filled the void more than effectively left by an ineffective Jason Giambi. Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter have helped a ton, but the numbers don't lie and Teixeira is the team's best player. He also plays good defense.
