There's that old saying, "Don't get mad, get even." Well, last night, Sean Avery got both. Avery played a marvelous game against his former club, the Dallas Stars, as he helped the Rangers earn their second victory in a row at the Garden, a 5-2 win. Avery, who finished the night with a goal and three assists, played arguably his best game of the season. "Two teams were paying me," Avery joked, when asked what was different against the Stars. It was the malignant relationship with the Stars that opened the door for Avery to return to Broadway, after he wore out his welcome in Big D. Avery, who signed a four-year, $15.5 million contract two summers ago, only played 23 games for Dallas before his tenure came to an abrupt end.
