According to a blog post by ESPN hockey analyst Pierre LeBrun, Glen Sather and the New York Rangers have not extended a hand to center Olli Jokinnen about returning for the 2010-11 season. Jokinen, who was acquired by New York in February with Brandon Prust for Chris Higgins and Ales Kotalik, managed just four goals and 15 assists in 26 games with the Blueshirts. He also failed to extend the shootout against the Flyers on the last game of the season that would have snuck the Rangers into the playoffs. Mark Gandler, Jokinen's agent, told ESPN.com "They [The Rangers] have not talked to us. I do not expect them to at this point."
