NEWS: Andy Murray Out As Coach Of St. Louis Blues

On Saturday morning, the St. Louis Blues wished Andy Murray a Happy New Year with a pink slip in an effort to get their struggling team to play better hockey. They have named Davis Payne the interim coach. The Blues are 17-17-6 currently, and sit in fourth place in the Central Division. They host the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night and will be without left wing Paul Kariya, who was placed on injured reserved on Dec. 30 with an upper body injury. The Blues offense has been miserable all season, as they have only two players with more than nine goals and are tied with the Detroit Red Wings for 24th in the NHL scoring only 2.53 goals per game.
