Admit it. As an Islanders' fan right now, you must be ecstatic. When was the last time this team won four games in a row? Even more than that, when was the last time you had confidence in this team to win games? Last season it was always a hope, but that hope usually faded by the third period. That trend carried over into the beginning of the season, but since the New York Islanders defeated the rival Rangers 3-1 one week ago, they have looked like a better team.
