The Minnesota Wild have had injury problems in recent years and it seems that this season may be no different. Both Cal Clutterbuck and Petr Sykora were injured in last week's game against San Jose. Clutterbuck appeared to twist his ankle after hitting a rut in the ice and has been in a ankle brace since leaving the game in the first period. He was officially placed on the injured reserve list today by Minnesota. Clutterbuck appears to have ankle sprain according to Wild GM Chuck Fletcher in an announcement on Wild.com "We'll have our doctors take a look, but it will be longer than a few days. Sykora's situation seems to be minor with a groin injury. He did not practice Monday at Honda Center in Anaheim and is doubtful in Wednesday's game against the Ducks.
