It was announced today that the captain of the Ottawa Senators, Daniel Alfredsson, was going to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks with a separated shoulder. Obviously, this injury is terrible news for the Ottawa Senators, who have had their fair share of injury trouble this season. Alfredsson is going to join Jason Spezza on the sideline. Things were just starting to turn around for the team too. The Senators had just gotten Pascal Leclaire back from injury, as well as Chris Neal and Shean Donovan. For those of you that don't know, Alfredsson was injured by a hit during the first period of the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The question on everybody's mind is, what does this mean for the Senators. Do they still have a chance of making the playoffs and having a good season? My answer is yes ...
