David Koci was clearly upset with his performance or the Colorado Avalanche's performance as they were mopped 6-1 last night by the Capitals in Denver. Koci saw a defenseless Mike Green as a source of venting lat in the second period. As Green was up against the was behind the Washington net, Koci flew at him and pushed him and his face right into the glass. Green was knocked to the ground, received stitches above his eye, and was unable to return. Koci was given a boarding major and a game misconduct penalty, but Capitals head coach Bruce Boudreau wasn't satisfied. Boudreau, who is not prone to outbursts had a few words to say in a press conference later.
