To say there is anything wrong with the 7-2-1 Calgary Flames so far this season may be like calling Nickelback a horrible band; they may be bad but they continue to be at the top of the charts. The Flames, thougháat the top of the standings in the Western Conference,áhave not had greatágoaltending from theáduo of Miikka Kiprusoff and Curtis Mcelhinney. Yes, there have been spurts where "Kipper" has looked like the elite goaltender that carried Calgary into the 2003-04 Stanley Cup, but with a goals against average of 3.10 and a save percentage of just over .900 he is hardly the same player.
